But isn’t everything that we see now, actually misty? Do we have the ability to see everything clearly now? Yes, with our naked eye. But isn’t it true that we are all just groping in the dimness of what we see? Do we not walk down the aisle of life with our heads covered in veil, until we all see as God sees, at the end of time?

The Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile is one of the most famous monuments in Paris. It stands in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle, at the western end of the Champs-Élysées, where this picture was taken, the evening we arrived in Paris last year (November, 2013). I would love to go to Paris again, and do some detail work in visiting the sites and simply enjoying the French lifestyle. The mistiness here is due to the rain that just poured, but the life of the city continues, rain or shine…
