I have been to Lourdes, France three times. In each case, I have heard of stories of people going to the miracle bath, and claiming that they are INSTANTLY DRY once they got out of the water. I didn’t experience that miracle in the three times that I have gone through the bath, but I remember the first time I did go to the bath, and experiencing a weird sense like everything in the world was new, like I was seeing everything for the first time. It was a weird feeling when you are not a newborn baby and you feel like you have never seen trees and ducks before. But that’s exactly how I experienced it. I will never forget the feeling. So, I am not looking to get instantly dry when I go to the bath in Lourdes. I have no more expectations, because I feel like God has somehow already given me a marvelous experience. I am blessed, and just utterly grateful.

This is my entry to Where’s My Back Pack? Travel Theme Challenge: Dry.
