The subway system in Paris is amazingly efficient. Just know the numbers of the train that you’re going, and then figure out which stop is nearest to your desired destination, and whalaaa!! You’re where you want to be! This is a photo taken on the subway of Paris, where the walls are full of these interesting things, advertisements and codes for effective navigation of the subway system.

In life, it is indeed good to be provided with guides, directions, landmarks, and other means to effectively get where you should be. In the church, these are the sacraments, and sacramentals, and every ritual, prayer and devotion that we can think of that we do in the name of our faith. These are great guidelines to help us determine where we are in the journey, and to keep us in check if we are still aware of where we are or if we have sadly lost our way. Not only do these guidelines and codes help us to stay on the right path, they also help us get back on track! So don’t underestimate or belittle the power of these aids on the journey. They’re good for you.

This is my entry to Cee’s Fun Photo Challenge: Numbers.
