For Ailsa’s Where’s my Backpack? Photo Challenge: Delicate.
What’s not to like about flowers? Didn’t the Lord talk about the splendor of these creatures? OK, yes, that was a lily, but really, it’s all flowers. These very delicate tulips in Amsterdam, for example, are so delicate to see and touch… I love them! The variety of shapes and colors, and designs just mesmerizes me. God is so creative… and yes, the lesson holds. They are most beautiful, and they do not even have to work for it, they just are! When we become in tune with our delicate nature (left alone, we cannot sustain ourselves), our frailty on this earth (we have no control over so many things in our life), and our temporariness (life is but a tulip that blooms and fades away), we develop a faithful reliance and trust in God.

  1. So utterly beautiful! They remind us of God’s faithfulness and love!
