A KANKAKEE SUNSET

A KANKAKEE SUNSET

A sunset view from the backyard of one of my parishioners. This is the Kankakee River.
I love sunsets, because they evoke a sense of nostalgia, a healthy melancholy for the passing of another day. It calls me to an introspection of how the day went by, and how the grace of God has worked… It teaches me to take a deep breath, to accept the things that I can no longer change, and to hope for an even better tomorrow.

  2. Oh to be able to live in this beauty each day is truly a blessing. To be reminded of God’s handiworks is to be in glory.
