A Word a Week Challenge:   Underneath.  I was wandering alone and about around Prague, when I caught sight of this one little swan that cleaned itself with total abandon, not minding who was watching or who was losing interest. The queenly, well-poised swan showed how to go down and dirty underneath a swan wing, if only to keep the littlest feather clean and spot-free. It does take a lot of work to be clean, not only physically, but also spiritually.  And if we are to be honest with ourselves, it means, we even have to coil our necks UNDERNEATH our bellies to keep things real and true.

  1. What you said is true. This is a very intimate picture with a swan. Nice pic.

  2. such courage and humility!
